During my masters studies I developed a modification in the training algorithm of the SLS Classifier described in [Pattern Recognition Based on Straight Line Segments], by applying evolutive algorithms instead of Gradient Descent method, to optimize the final position of two sets of straight line segments.
DNA Symphony: A new method to Represent Genomic Sequences:
A new method for representing DNA sequences by mapping the k-mers frequencies extracted from the genomic signature of different genomes into a synchronized polyphonic musical composition.
